COOKIE POLICY

Last updated: 23/07/2026

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They are used to make websites work correctly and to provide information to website owners.

2. COOKIES WE USE

This website uses own technical cookies, required for its operation, and third-party cookies for analytics (Google Analytics), advertising (Google Ads), and to enable the appointment booking service (Calendly). Analytics, advertising, and booking cookies are only activated if you give your explicit consent via the cookie banner; until you do, they remain blocked (see section 4, Google Consent Mode v2).

2.1. Technical cookies (own) — do not require consent

csrfToken hostpro-clean.com Own — Technical Protection against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. Required for website security. Session
PHPSESSID hostpro-clean.com Own — Technical Identifies the user's session on the server. Required for basic website operation. Session

2.2. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — require consent

Name Provider Type Purpose Duration
_ga Google Third-party — Analytics Distinguishes users by assigning a unique client identifier to measure site usage. 2 years
_ga_FTWJHVGZFB Google Third-party — Analytics Maintains the Google Analytics 4 session state for this site's property. 2 years

2.3. Advertising cookies (Google Ads) — require consent

Name Provider Type Purpose Duration
_gcl_au Google Ads Third-party — Advertising Stores information about ad interactions to attribute campaign conversions. 90 days
IDE Google (DoubleClick) Third-party — Advertising Used to show relevant ads and measure their performance (ad personalization). 1 year
test_cookie Google Third-party — Advertising Checks whether the user's browser supports cookies. 1 day

Exact names and durations may vary depending on the version of Google's service.

2.4. Third-party cookies — appointment booking (Calendly) — require consent

The Calendly booking widget is only loaded after you accept the cookie banner, and it sets its own functional cookies (e.g. session and anti-bot protection cookies) required to manage the booking. For more detail, see Calendly's privacy policy.

3. LOCAL STORAGE (localStorage)

This website uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) for:

  • cnvsBodyColorScheme: saving your visual theme preference (light/dark mode). Does not require consent.
  • cookie_consent: remembering your decision on the cookie banner (accepted/rejected) so it is not shown again on every visit.

This information is not transmitted to any server and is only used on your device.

4. LEGAL BASIS AND GOOGLE CONSENT MODE V2

Own technical cookies are based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR), as they are strictly necessary for the secure operation of the website and do not require prior consent.

Analytics, advertising, and booking cookies are based on your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR and Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE), given through the cookie banner. This site implements Google Consent Mode v2: by default, all consent signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage) are set to denied, so Google Analytics and Google Ads do not store cookies or identifying data until you click "Accept". If you click "Reject", these cookies remain blocked.

5. HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES

You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the cookies and local storage for this site in your browser: the cookie banner will be shown again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Please note that blocking technical cookies may affect website functionality.
