Guía de Isora extends along the south-west slope of Tenerife, from the coast (Playa San Juan, Alcalá) to the 2,500 metres of Mount Teide. It is the municipality that hosts some of the highest-category resorts on the island (Ritz-Carlton Abama, Royal Hideaway), with a premium international guest profile.
That concentration of luxury coexists with a traditional Canarian old town and small fishing villages like Alcalá, which offer another face of the municipality: rural or village-style rentals with charm. The mix generates a very diverse vacation clientele.
